“Love is the doctrine of this church” is a covenant we make with each other every Sunday. We also covenant to keep an open mind, to protect Earth from exploitation, and to help out other UU churches. These are just a few of the covenants we make with each other either individually or group to group. What is a covenant and what do we do when we fail to live up to it? Do we put love at the center of our relationships and find a gracious way to fix it?
