The SMUUF service will be held at First Lutheran Church, 130 W. Holland St, San Marcos, TX, at our regular time of 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 22. The purpose is to hold a trial service at that location to give our congregation a better idea of whether we want to begin having our services there in the future.
If we do decide to move our services to the First Lutheran Church, we could hold them on Sunday mornings at whatever time we decide. However, we would be meeting in the gym that is used during the week for kids’ activities. That means we will have a significant amount of set-up and take-down each Sunday, requiring lots of volunteers from the congregation to help with that each time. We hope that as many people as possible come to this service on June 22 at 1:00 pm, so we can get a better understanding of the pros and cons of a tentative SMUUF relocation to the Lutheran Church.
