
Mother’s Day is complicated. Founded as an anti-war protest, it has been corrupted by the patriarchy into a commercialized mess of sentimental goop. Meanwhile, people whose mothers are marginalized in every way. Let’s turn away from the bouquets and consider the radical nature of mothers who ask questions.
