We are a people who are concerned about the here and now and understand that we are called to do the work that makes the here and now better for everyone. But sometimes, we can forget to center humanity in this work. Join Rev. Carrie to release our fear, sadness, anger and all the other things that we hold so that our load may be made lighter in the sharing.
As the saying goes, Rev. Carrie was not raised a UU, but she got here as soon as she could. Since becoming a UU, Carrie has been an active and involved leader in Unitarian Universalism, leading efforts for facilitating religious education programs, organizing efforts for UU the Vote, and working as an activist and chaplain during the Texas Legislative Sessions.
Before getting the call to ministry, Rev. Carrie used her Master’s in Public Policy to work for the Texas Legislature. She brings her experience in the legislature and her passion for change into her ministry.
Rev. Carrie is happily married to Russell with whom she gets to raise two wonderful children and two very loved but odd cats.
