Humans tend to think of our lives in stories – narratives in which we are usually the main characters. But our role in the story can change, from hero, to witness, to someone who lost their place altogether in the book.
Later in life, we may lose many episodes of our long-running sagas to flighty memory or trauma or illness. But losing some details can mean we see the overall narrative arc of our lives take shape. And then it’s time to craft the exciting season opener for the rest of our lives.
And that will be the episode no one wants to miss.
Join Reverend Christine as she shares the comedy and the tragedy involved when we ask ourselves, “What in the world have we been doing all this time?”
Rev. Christine brings a diverse background of service in pastoral ministry, employee relations management and policy development, college teaching in literature and communication, and numerous professional acting roles beginning at age 11—her first encounter with sacred space. She has been senior minister for UCC, Unitarian Universalist, and ecumenical congregations in Colorado, California, and Texas, and currently extends a radical welcome to the “nones” as @RevDrSparky on TikTok.
