The San Marcos UU Fellowship welcomes Gene Randall to the table. “Uncle Gene” Randall has been a radio host of Indigenous Freedom Radio, and is an elder, a powwow gourd dancer, and a powwow emcee in the Central Texas indigenous community. As a public speaker, he has addressed such issues as missing and murdered indigenous women and girls (MMIWG+), residential school programs, environmentalism, fossil fuel extraction, cultural preservation, and the indigenous perspective on racism and other topical issues. He is a member of the Indigenous Cultures Institute based in San Marcos.
The San Marcos Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is pleased to invite you to another presentation of Voices at the Table. The free series designed to build understanding of different perspectives and experiences takes place on the first Sunday of the month.
