The progressive Caldwell/Hays Examiner (partly run by SMUUF friends Jordan Buckley & Shannon FitzPatrick) invite Caldwell County residents to show up to Commissioners Court on Tuesday morning at 8:30AM (Sept 24) to speak out against an an anti-immigrant Disaster Declaration passed there. Among other things, the resolution falsely states that non-citizens spread disease and commit crimes, thereby obligating Caldwell to proclaim a state of disaster. Citizens can sign up to speak for 3 minutes at the start of the meeting to urge Caldwell County Commissioners to repeal the Disaster Declaration.
