I like to think I’ve learned a thing or two about marriage, plus all the pastoral and premarital counseling I’ve done, say nothing about the training and books I’ve read, yet I’ve learned most from experience and from my wife. After different marital therapy, individual therapy, years of study in family therapy and more than 35 years of ministry in many different congregations from NJ to California, I’m ready to let you in on some secrets.
Rev. Art Severance is Minister Emeritus of First UU Church of San Antonio, where he served from 1991-2007; he has served congregations in PA, NJ, CO, NY, and CA. He has also served has served as Chaplain at UBARU, and still does itinerant preaching. He is a folksinger and songwriter with a CD available, a writer, with some books available, and a photographer with his photos currently in the Galleries at the Art Leagues of San Antonio At 130 King William, Seguin at 104 S Austin St, and New Braunfels at 239 W San Antonio St. His wife, Cathie and 3 daughters will probably be in attendance with multiple grandchildren!
