At the most recent meeting, we discovered some confusion about our Donate the Plate tradition. On the second Sunday of the month, we take every donation placed in the plate during our Time of Giving and donate it to the recipient of Donate the Plate (unless the donation is clearly marked for the Church). Every other week, the donations in the plate are given to the Church unless they are clearly marked for the recipient organization. If you want your donation to be given to the recipient organization, please clearly mark this on your donation!
