SMUUF has had a long and beneficial relationship with the Redwood Community Center, which we will continue this June as we have selected them to receive our Donate-the-Plate collection. Ellie Stewart, Redwood’s Treasurer, will be with us Sunday, June 9. Meanwhile, you can donate by designating Redwood or Donate-the-Plate on the Memo Line of your check or on the envelope if giving in cash and in Tithe.ly.

Once again, your wonderful church has chosen our non-profit organization to be a recipient of your “Donate the Plate” program. We want you to know how very much we appreciate this.
We continue to serve the needy people of Redwood/Rancho Vista in many different ways. Our partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank continues to bring food to the families who qualify. They also bring various other items, such as diapers, special deliveries for seniors, and pet food. We also now maintain a food pantry for those who are in need immediately.
Our organization also provides health clinics. We put on a special event get-together for the community for Easter, a Fall Festival and a Christmas party. Santa comes to the Christmas party and each child gets a gift and gets their picture taken with Santa to take home with them. Normally your donation is used to provide what is needed for these special events.
