From Garrie Borden: Jeannie Lewis is home!
From Jeannie Lewis to Our Dear SMUUF Congregation: I want you all to know how much it has meant to me to have your love, comfort, and support during my hospital and rehab recovery from my terrible car accident on April 26! After nearly three weeks, I am finally home. This church has been my heart and soul since its founding in 1987 here in San Marcos. It provides the meaning and purpose to my life and is a sources of deep friendships, support for social justice work, and joyful activities. The doctors say my recovery will be slow. Your cards, emails, phone call, visits, errands run, goodies delivered, transportation, and other help provided has lifted my spirit and helped my recovery along. I am ever grateful! Thank you so much! Love, Jeannie — jeannie@centurytel.net and (512) 353-2872. Do you know of others in the SMUUF community who could use a card or a phone call? Or perhaps a meal or some help with daily needs? After you’ve shown your love and support, please pass the word to continue to strengthen connections. Reach out to the members of the Caring Committee at SMUUF by emailing caring@smuuf.org.
