Welcome to the San Marcos Unitarian Universalist Fellowship!

Deeping our Relationships – Former SMUUF Minister Rev. Brian Ferguson Live from California – April 28th at 1:00 pm

Unitarian Universalism can be difficult to talk about succinctly and clearly define. At the heart of our religious movement is the desire to be in a healthy relationship with ourselves, with those around us, and with our environment. This worship service will explore how to deepen the most important relationships in our everyday lives.

Rev. Brian Ferguson is completing his fourth year as the settled minister at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Redwood City in the San Francisco Bay Area. He served as the five-year Developmental Minister at Wildflower Unitarian Universalist Church in Austin, Texas. He also served for five years here at San Marcos Unitarian Universalist Fellowship from 2010 to 2015. He graduated in May 2009 with a Master of Divinity degree from Starr King School for the Ministry, the Unitarian Universalist Seminary in Berkeley, California. His ministry is driven by the desire to explore and improve the human condition in an interdisciplinary and holistic way.

Brian is a native of Scotland and has lived in California and Texas since 1986. In his previous life, before attending seminary, he earned an Applied Physics degree from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland, and worked for 24 years as an Electronic Design engineer and project manager. He is joined on life’s journey by his partner, Natalie Freeburg, and 20-year-old daughter, Isla Ferguson.
